Four Paws Recall Information

The following note has been sent to all our customers that our records indicate may have purchased one or more of these products from My Oodles for Doodles Store. If you have purchased these products from another store, the recall process from Four Paws is also the same.

Dear Customer,

We have recently been notified that select dog toys from Four Paws have been recalled. To ensure the health and safety of your pet, we ask that you remove these toys immediately. The toys include:

• Four Paws Rough & Rugged Pimple Ball with Bell
• Four Paws Rough & Rugged Teaser Ball with Bell
• Four Paws Rough & Rugged Dumbbell with Bell
• Four Paws Rough & Rugged Dental Dumbbell
• Four Paws Rough & Rugged Fun Bag (3 piece)

The manufacturer's recall notice with a complete list of toys, including size and UPC Code, is located at the bottom of this note.

Our records indicate that you may have purchased one or more of these products from My Oodles for Doodles Store. We have set all these toys to "Out of Stock" until replacement toys are available. We will also be updating our web site with the recall notice from Four Paws. Our mission has been to provide safe dog toys for our customers and their pets. We are distressed and concerned to find that these toys may have caused injuries yet we are pleased that Four Paws is taking measures to replace these defective toys and correct their manufacturing problems.

Four Paws has asked that these toys be returned directly to them for replacement. The recall notice below includes the address to send the recalled toys. We have copied it below:

Please make sure that the toy you are sending to Four Paws is on the recall list below. Four Paws is receiving many toys not on the recall list including toys from other manufacturers. Four Paws Rough & Rugged® Pimple Ball with Bell

Four Paws is deeply concerned about reports of injuries suffered by some dogs as a result of a manufacturing defect in some of its Pimple Ball with Bell toys. We have stopped shipping the toys to our distributors and asked them to have retailers remove the toys from their shelves immediately and return them at Four Paws expense.

In addition, we have halted shipments of the toys from the manufacturer and we are sending Executive Vice President Barry Askin to personally inspect the manufacturer's facility in order to make sure that the defect has been corrected.

Four Paws is also changing the packaging of its Pimple Balls with Bells to make it easier to inspect them for potential defects and we are individually inspecting every one of the toys in inventory in order to identify any that may be defective.

Consumers who have purchased one of the toys identified by the UPC listed below, should immediately take the toy away from their pet. You may return the Pimple Ball with Bell for replacement to the address listed below. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 1-800-835-0909.
